Connemara Hill Lamb
Naturally raised lamb in its indigenous environment that matures slowly gaining the full benefit of a natural habitat that it lives’ within. These lambs eat natural herbs, heathers and grasses unique to the Corrib System in Connemara and the result is an exceptionally succulent taste, quality and flavour. This beautiful looking meat is a lean, rose red and deeply textured with a pronounced sweet aroma.

Awarded European PGI status you can only get Connemara Hill Lamb from the Connemara Hill Farmers, available exclusively on the market through M&K Meats. In season and available here from June to January!

The Connemara Hill Lamb has been granted Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) status, which means that the use of the name 'Connemara Hill Lamb' name is strictly reserved for the hill lamb born and reared within this designated area of Connemara Galway. This is the only meat product in Ireland that has been granted the protection against imitation, manipulation or abuse.
